Lace/Hanky Photography, LLC began out of a desire to present something different to the landscape of event photography. Both classically trained as fine art photographers, Amanda and Lacey have worked together professionally for five years and will deliver a new energy to your photographs. Their journalistic style records the fleeting natural moments of the day, capturing the narrative of your story. They challenge themselves to present you with cutting-edge images for your event– nothing is formulaic. It is important to capture those candid moments that uniqueness of each event.
Lace/Hanky's professional etiquette allow you to relax and really enjoy your event. You will have a private consultation session with Lacey and Amanda to plan out all the details. This will allow them to get to know you and learn about likes and interests. They will also discuss the details of the day such as locations, schedules, and how you’d like us to customize your Proofbook.

Amanda often uses environment and lighting to enhance the story of the characters in her work. When not clicking pics at weddings, reunions and environmental portraits, Amanda's creativity turns to Ephemeral Space Gallery, where she is co-artistic director for one night art parties, highlighting emerging artists in the Twin Cities.
Lacey Criswell
Photographer
Lacey's artistic interest is in capturing the dynamic emotional territory of couples. Travel is also an important photographic activity for Lacey. Recently, Lacey traveled to Moroccan countryside and collected portraits for a future book in the making.
